Cornel Harland Sanders, the founder of KFC, was a prominent member of the Masonic Order. He joined Freemasonry in 1917 in Indiana, and later continued his work in Kentucky. He received the 33rd degree of the Scottish Order, which is an honorary recognition for many years of service and contribution. His connection with the Masonic fraternity and the Shriners was so significant that Masonic symbols are on his tombstone, and the Masonic badge was part of his distinctive white suit.

So, the next time you go to KFC for lunch, remember that you are not just paying for food, but you are supporting a brand whose founder was publicly a member of the Masonic fraternity. It is all there before your eyes. Symbols. Messages. Affiliations. They do not hide them. On the contrary, they show them publicly.

And you voluntarily come to them, stand in line, pay, and still support them with your money. If you are already choosing where to spend your money, at least know who you are supporting. Let everyone draw their own conclusions and make their own decisions, but it is good to know who we are giving our trust and our money to.

“Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is beneficial.” (1 Corinthians 6:12)
